Best food we have had since we moved to this area, in fact, out of all of the places we have eaten, it is the only one that we really liked. Everyone loved their food. The clam chowder, mussels, salmon and popcorn shrimp were awesome. Fantastic onion rings. Will definitely go back again.

We did Mother Day’s Lunch today instead of tomorrow and was went to an amazing place in Windham THE LOBSTER TAIL. Our first visit but will not be our last!!! Wonderful people. The food was fresh and so flavorful. Classy but yet family friendly. It is a little off the beaten path but worth finding. Actually it is almost behind the Windham Middle School. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place and will be going back soon. Hummmmmmmmm I think I have a birthday coming up very soon.

Really great seafood, at least the fried things that I ordered. The portions are huge and scrumptious. - 7/12/2015 on Yelp
I have no clue as to what a few of the naysayers are talking about because I’m 54 and have traveled New England for the best seafood for over 40 years. This place is top of the line in every way. One reviewer stated that this is not a 5 star place, it puts Markey’s and Brown’s to shame. I am a very fussy person as far as quality goes and let me tell you, the service was impressive, the wait staff worked very well together also. Our waitress made sure that our meal was as enjoyable as could ever be. She even came out with free (best I ever had) onion rings because she noticed it was taking us a while to order from their huge and wonderful menu. Yes, this is a 5 star seafood place and stands up against anybody else. How do I know> Because I’ve sought out the best driven hundreds of miles for a lobster roll, etc. Listen, the lobster roll is not a regular hot dog roll but a super wide roll filled with delicious lobster. My seafood platter melted in my mouth and the batter is light, clean and perfectly crispy. Clams, scallops, fish, shrimp? Out of this world@ We also had the Lobster dip appetizer with Ritz crackers…immense and amazing. So forget the FEW naysayers please and all yourself to be treated to the best seafood around. And of course the décor isn’t 5 star… it’s a seafood place called The Lobster Tail… not white tie and tails ☺ Tell them Harry sent ya ☺

Second time and we all ordered different things from the fried clams to swordfish kabobs… everything was great. The owner walks around and talks to the customers. Very nice place… a little of the beaten path and in a plaza, but well worth the trip… haven’t found anything better away from beach. - 6/20/2015 on Yelp

Excellent Food, Cute Place. Cute and clean restaurant. Looks newly renovated. Mixed crowd with some locals and others were pretty dressed up. Best fried clams! My fiancé got a burger and was very pleased with the flavor and the way it was cooked. The bar area looked nice and it was separate from the restaurant which I liked. I will be back to try more delicious food!

Delicious. For anyone who loves fried seafood but can’t make it out to the beach to get some. DO give The Lobster Tail a try. Delicious food. Clean establishment. Family friendly. Good drinks! Great place!! - 6/19/2015 on Trip Advisor
Must try. Best. Seafood. Ever. As a Midwesterner, if I am on a coast, I am getting seafood. Every kind I can get my hands on. I was in Salem with work colleagues and I have to say that of the 3 restaurants we visited, this was our favorite. Everything we got – the Sangria (recommended by the amazing bartender/server Lauren), the Mango Mule, the crab dip, the Lobster dinner (I’m salivating just thinking about it – I got steamed lobster with the Montreal seasoning – Shut The Front Door!)…. it was all amazing. The atmosphere was perfect – we chose the bar side, but they have a “restaurant” side too with booths. This was a recommendation from a local. We didn’t want to leave – the atmosphere was just what we needed to unwind from a long day of training. Lauren even gave us a recommendation for the next night which was great to (Surf Nashua) but this by far was the best seafood dinner I’ve ever had. So happy that the gal from the Holiday Inn shared this with us.

We have been to the Lobster Tail with family and friends several times and always enjoyed our experience. We host an annual neighborhood block party and this year we asked The Lobster Tail to cater a clambake. From the lobster dip down to the last lobster the entire event was nothing less than phenomenal! Zak and Danny arrived, setup and cooked a huge clambake feast. Salads, shrimp cocktail, corn on the cob, steamers and the best clam chowder we have ever had! The Lobsters were big and perfect as was the filet mignon offered to those who are not seafood lovers. Everyone had fun and raved about it all! Would do it again and again! George and Janice Hollis NH
